David Fraser was born on 28 March 1958 in Portage La Prairie, Manitoba, Canada. He is an actor and production manager, known for Charlie Bartlett (2007), Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles III (1993) He has been married to Marilyn Wallis Fraser since 28 April 1998. They have one child.

He had nine children altogether; one died in infancy. Fraser was one of the last surviving partners of the North West Company when he died on August 18, 1862. His wife died the next day, and they were buried in a single grave in the Roman Catholic cemetery at St. Andrew's West.

Later in Cheers, Frasier marries Lilith Sternin (Bebe Neuwirth) and has a son, Frederick. After Cheers ended, the character moved to a spin-off series, Frasier, through which the span of his overall television appearances totals twenty years.

His three sons are named Griffin Arthur Fraser, born 2002, Holden Fletcher Fraser, born 2004, and Leland Francis Fraser, born 2006. Holden and Leland are both fashion models signed with Marilyn Agency. In a 2018 interview with GQ, Fraser revealed that his oldest son is on the autism spectrum.
